From September 12, 2013 to January 5, 2014 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, at La Sucrière, the Foundation Bullukian, the Church of Saint-Just and the Chaufferie de l’Antiquaille. 5 sites, 5 atmospheres.

“Meanwhile …, Suddenly, and Subsequently”

A number of keywords help establish the timeless backdrop for the exhibits and their messages, arousing our curiosity and maintaining a breathless sense of anticipation... Duration or immediacy… Before, during, after… The succession or overlaying of instants…

It is based on this theme of narration, chosen by Gunnar B. Kvaran, curator of the 2013 event, that artists from the world over will be bringing us their own personal interpretation, their impressions and their "way of telling it" through their works.

The result is a huge variety of concepts, equipment and techniques. Each of the 52 artists "tells it their way" using sculpture, painting, drawing, sound, video, images, objects and installations or performances. All options are open for getting the message across!

These exhibitions bear witness to the diversity of the perceptions of time and narration according to cultures, ages and sensibilities.
Whether strange, funny, dramatic or unusual, sometimes iconoclastic, provocative, disturbing or even irritating, these works will certainly not leave you unmoved.

At a time when social networks are making life so very "immediate", this notion is today more valid than ever.
