Museum of Puylata

A site museum, as the items discovered during the excavations between 1955 and 1969 are still there. Gallo-Roman equipment, paintings and bronze, iron, architectural and ceramic items from the 1st to the 3rd c., pottery, medallions, etc.

The Planetarium

In the company of a scientific guide, take a journey through the cosmos to discover planets, stars and galaxies. Forteen different sessions are available, some of which are updated every year.

African Museum

Founded in 1863, it houses a major collection focusing exclusively on West African civilisations. Including ritual masks, fabrics, statuettes and musical instruments, it offers a unique insight into sub-Saharan cultures.

Situé au confluent du Rhône et de la Saône, le musée des Confluences offre un cadre exceptionnel à vos manifestations professionnelles (conférences, réunions, spectacles ou cocktails), au cœur d’une structure monumentale entre Cristal et Nuage.

Dental Surgery Museum

This museum was created in 1979. It retraces the history of dental surgery: equipment and documents. It shows the technical development of equipment and products. Discover the reconstruction of a surgery from the 1900s and a prosthetic workshop.

Musée Miniature et Cinéma

Two unique collections: the 120 miniature scenes produced by the artist Dan Ohlmann and the 350 legendary film props give the visitor an insight into the special effects techniques of our leading film studios.

Museum of firefighters of Lyon Rhône

Created in 1971, it is the largest fire service museum in France and perhaps Europe. It tells 250 years of history and is a place of remembrance for the fire service. On 2 floors, it exhibits a collection of equipment, clothing, vehicles, etc.

The Museum of Printing and graphic communication

In a city which was once the capital of bookmaking in the 15th and 16th centuries, the museum offers a unique overview of the history of books and graphical techniques in a 1,750 m² exhibition area.
